Are christian relationships better than non-christian relationships?
Public Comments
- not particularly
- No they are not. Every relationship stand on how the people involved treat each other and nothing else. Labels don't matter.
- no not really
- yes men
- I don't think so.
- Well, there's only 1 way you should really do things... You're a Christian = he/she is Christian You're NOT a Chrsitian = he/she not a Christian. If you don't go by what I'm saying, the chances are that you'll have bad trouble in your relationships. I'm a Christian and the Bible says to only yolk with someone if you're a Christian.
- no worse. Christians are close minded and suffer from delusions
- So u mean Jewish, Buddhist, muslims, and athiests.. cant have good relationships?? good relationship means two mature commited adult having love, respect and trust for each other.. that's it..
- No it really doesn't matter. It depends upon the two mates. It
- yeah, christian relationships are based on love and have God in their relationship as far non-christian relationships are based on sex and can the people could be not loyal to their spouse. but again, it depends on the people
- Do you mean dating? well, if your both christians, you know that eachother wont try something that they shouldnt(or most christians wont). But christians have values, they have more control over their relation ships than others. And they know that the relationship won last for eer so they wont do anything that they shouldnt.
- ok, what does christianity have to do with a bond that u have with someone. love is so much stronger than a belief. think about that question and how ignorant it is.
- Ultimately, aren't they human relationships?
- Not for me they weren't. I was married to a woman who found god through the Pentacostal church after we were married. I am agnostic. This was not ideal. We were divorced shortly afterwards (it was mutual, she didn't like being "yoked with an unbeliever"). I should note this is "the laying on of hands, speaking in tongues, casting out demons" flavor.
- yes
- Absolutely. Christian relationships are about working together to do the will of God. As long as the foundation of a relationship is to put God first and each other second, the relationship will last. A true Christian relationship requires that both of the people in that relationship must be Christians. When two non-christians get together and than one person in the (marriage) relationship becomes a Christian, it usually ends one of three ways. Either the non-christian requests a divorce and the Christian (following the teachings of Jesus) grants the divorce, the two agree to disagree and the Christian prays for their partner, or the other person in the relationship becomes a Christian.
- It has nothing to do with religion... the person will behave in one way and has nothing to do with what he or she believes
- Everyone should try to be equally yoked....If your a christian then be with one...If your not a christian...then dont be with one.
- No
- they can be better OR worse-- it all depends on the two people involved. In theory christian relationships should be better because christians are supposed to have a relationship with God, and should be working to grow and become better people. But of COURSE this is not the way it is.
- in my experience the answer is yes in certain ways because Christians strive for greatness in all aspects in life.
- If there were no GOD belief in the world it would be a very bad place
- i think if your talking about a romantic relationship it is no better with a christian than a non christian, but i would help make things easier if you feel the same about religion.
- No not at all. And being christian shouldn't have anything to do with it. I see some people saying *christians have values*. I differ. Most christians I know of are repressed. I have dated *christian* girls in the past and believe me - one was so horny and confused I could not go on with it.
- christianity s popularity was in part due to a king henry who wanted to get a divorce but due to him being catholic the church wouldnt approve so he changed his religion (in short). so go figure. if your so naive to believe that if you have the same religion your relationship will last longer then perhaps you should stay with your type.
