- Here's a timeline that contains some of that information.
- The best online chronology I could find was in Wikipedia. Printed encyclopedias tells more or less the same, so you might take the article in Wikipedia as a summary of the scientific point of view. Some chistians believe the books were written by the names they carry. That Moses, Josua and others actually wrote the books that carry their names. Historians don't believe that. Science has proven that these books were written hundreds, even a thousand years after. According to that, the oldest book is supposed to be Amos (about 760 b.c.) followed by Hosea, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Zephania, Nahum (700-600 b.c.). Lamentations is supposed to have been written about 580 b.c.. Psalms 500-400 b.c. The Tora about 500 b.c. Joshuah 400 b.c. Job between 500 and 300 b.c. Chronicles 300 b.c. Ezra, Nehemiah about 300 b.c. Daniel 165 b.c, Ester 150 b.c. For other books, se article. Wikipedia gives a chronology of when the books of New Testament was written
